This is too bad, because Adobe has some great software that it sells. Meanwhile, Adobe seems to be creating a lot of bad will, judging by the previous several pages of this thread. So what about the zhlub like me who decides to "deactivate" the security and gets whammed by a nasty? Well, that's capitalism for you, huh? Somehow, the cynic in me suspects that Adobe thinks it's cheaper and more effective to engage in minimal efforts of step 3 and 4 than to definitively reengineer a piece of proprietary software that open-source software threatens to make obsolete over the next year or so. This is in the context of the rapid adoption of HTML5, which has a far more elegant (and free) player.
FHASH PLAYER CARSHING FIREFOX DRIVER
I uninstalled my graphics driver and re-installed it as well since that was a possible solution i found online. I un-installed and re-installed to be sure. This problem has only happened on livestreaming players like Twitch and not Youtube.įlash is up to date.

Other browsers work perfectly fine(chrome) but i would like to avoid using chrome if possible. Very rarely will it actually come up with a dialog box which says something along the lines of "unresponsive script: …f6099527ae431a53b752bfcfe32.js:15" but even that will freeze. There are no reports from these crashes in my about:crashes to send to Firefox for help.

A pop-up will appear saying how plugin-container.exe had crashed or what ever but not really any help. It will lock up and not move past it until i force it closed. The flash player crashes my entire browser. I am unable to watch streaming services like Twitch. I found one post where the user had my problem but there was no answer that helped him/her or me. Yes I have looked online and on this subreddit before posting about my problem.
